Live TV streaming services, like YouTube TV and Sling TV, are generally less expensive than cable and satellite TV subscriptions, and they don’t require annual contracts. On the downside, you’re less likely to get all of your local channels (like NBC) on a live TV streaming service, and you’ll need a solid internet connection (at least 25Mbps) to stream glitch-free.

NBC’s on-demand streaming cousin, Peacock, carries next-day NBC content and some live sports programming, including football and soccer. But Peacock Premium Plus subscribers get 24/7 live access to a local NBC channel feed.
With a cable, satellite, or live TV streaming service login, you can also watch NBC programming, live and some on-demand, at NBC.com. Like Peacock, the site also features “live” channels of looping content from NBC and other NBCUniversal cable channels.
In the app store for your streaming device (Roku, Amazon Fire TV, etc.) or smart TV, you can find apps for NBC, NBC Sports, NBC News, and several local NBC stations. Most require a cable, satellite, or live TV streaming service login, and only some feature live programming.
